In-charge SP Rajesh Chandra is being welcomed by locals to the medical camp held at Hirapur village in Indervelli mandal on Tuesday.
Adilabad: A medical camp organised by police belonging to Utnoor sub-division evoked good response from the people at Hirapur village in Indervelli mandal on Tuesday. About 900 tribals attended the medical camp and utilised various medical services. In-charge Superintendent of Police M Rajesh Chandra was the chief guest at the event.
Addressing participants, Rajesh Chandra said the policemen were always serving the tribals by conducting medical camps and community outreach programmes. He praised the policemen for organising the camp for the convenience of ethnic tribes dwelling in 17 remote habitations. He thanked doctors and their team members for extending their support to the cause.
The IPS officer further stated that the police department was planning to provide free coaching to aspirants of police constable jobs, soon. He requested youngsters to abstain from bad habits. He urged the rural folks to resolve issues by approaching local cops. He appreciated the deputy District Medical and Health Officer of Adilabad K Manohar for sponsoring medicines worth Rs 2 lakh.
Utnoor Additional Superintendent of Police Harshavardhan Srivatsav, Deputy DMHO Manohar, Doctors Dhanaraj, Ranaveer, Sabita, Deepak Puskar, Ramesh Pawar, Utnoor Inspector Saidarao, Indervelli Sub-Inspector N Nagnath, ZPTC member Pushpalatha, Sarpanch Nagorao were present.
