Hyderabad: NTT Data Services, which is setting to set up a new IT business centre in Adilabad town, has given appointment letters to 50 people.
“Delighted to hear NTT Data Services along with BDLT issued appointment letters to 50 youngsters from Adilabad!” said IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao in a tweet.
“My compliment to the new hires of Adilabad and best wishes to the aspirants,” he said and termed this as another step towards taking IT to Tier 2 towns of Telangana.
The State Government has set a target to generate employment of 25,000 in Tier-II and Tier III cities by 2026 and develop a robust district innovation ecosystem in five regional centres.
To attract more investors to these cities with a plug-and-play model of IT-Hubs, the Government has also decided to incentivise private developers to set up technology centres in Tier II and III locations through a private-public partnership model.
