Adilabad police nab rowdy-sheeter for terrorising public through AI-generated firearm post

A rowdy-sheeter from Khanapur, Adilabad, was arrested for allegedly threatening the public by posting an AI-generated image of himself holding a pistol on social media. SP Akhil Mahajan said the accused confessed to creating the image using an application.

Adilabad: A rowdy-sheeter was arrested for allegedly terrorizing the public by uploading his photograph carrying a pistol generated using Artificial Intelligence on social media platforms on Thursday night.

SP Akhil Mahajan, in a statement, said that Gaikwamble Dalit from Chichdhari Khanapur in the town was apprehended for threatening the public by posting his photograph holding a weapon on his social media accounts. He reportedly confessed to creating the image with the help of an AI application. A case was registered against him and an investigation was launched.


Akhil warned of stern action against those who terrorise the people by uploading photographs and videos on social media platforms carrying weapons and swords inciting violence. He cautioned that stringent action would be taken against those celebrating birthdays and important events in public places.
