Mancherial/Adilabad: A protest against deputation of employees of Sarv Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) entered the 18th day here on Thursday. Leaders of the employees said that the government was not inviting them for consultations. They stated that they were not paid minimum wages. They noted that they launched the protest when the government deputed them in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. They regretted that students would bear the brunt if the employees were deputed at KGBVs.
Meanwhile, members of Tudum Debba took out a rally from Muthnoor village to a martyrs’ column in support of the employees in Indervelli mandal centre. They demanded the government to address problems of the employees at the earliest. They declared that they would intensify a stir against the government if the government did not respond to the protest.
