Adilabad Sarpanch names grandson K Chandrashekhar Rao after former Chief Minister KCR
The Sarpanch, Meenakshi, said that the newly created State of Telangana was able to stand at the top in the country with the help of innovative welfare schemes and pragmatic developmental programmes during Chandrashekhar Rao’s 10-year-long tenure
Adilabad: Model village Mukhra (K) Sarpanch Gadge Meenakshi expressed her admiration for Telangana’s first Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao by naming her grandchild as KCR. She performed the naming ceremony of the child at Mukhra (K) village in Echoda mandal on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Meenakshi said that the newly created State of Telangana was able to stand at the top in the country with the help of innovative welfare schemes and pragmatic developmental programmes during Chandrashekhar Rao’s 10-year-long tenure. She attributed the winning of five national awards by the village to the schemes such as Palle Pragathi, Telanganaku Haritha Haram and other developmental activities.
She also said people were always indebted to Chandrashekhar Rao for significantly growing the state on many fronts. She stated that her son Dheeraj and daughter-in-law Vaishnavi’s son was named after KCR. She added that villagers would follow ideals of the BRS supremo.
