Adilabad software engineer drowns in United States
Aleti Nihar Reddy met with a watery grave when he along with his family members was holidaying at the waterfalls, Lake Sammamish, a popular tourist spot of Washington DC.
Adilabad: A 31-year-old software engineer belonging to Adilabad district accidentally drowned in a lake at Washington DC in the United States of America on Sunday. The incident came to light on Wednesday.
Sources said that the deceased was Aleti Nihar Reddy, younger son of Laxma Reddy and Shobha Reddy and native of Bhorigaon village in Echoda mandal.
Nihar Reddy met with a watery grave when he along with his family members was holidaying at the waterfalls, Lake Sammamish, a popular tourist spot of Washington DC. His parents could not rescue him. He accidentally slipped at a slippery spot and fell into the lake, resulting in his drowning as he was not familiar with swimming.
The software engineer and his brother Nikhil Reddy settled in the USA three years ago. He was married to a girl from Hyderabad in 2019. His wife is pregnant now. His parents went to Washington DC three months ago. All of them visited the lake for recreation with Sunday being a holiday.
