Adilabad SP Akhil felicitates tribal girl for top rank in JEE-Advanced
Vaishnavi brought recognition to the police department and the district by excelling in the national level engineering entrance and securing a seat in Geophysics course at IIT-Bombay
Adilabad: Superintendent of Police Akhil felicitated Mahajan Kanaka Vaishnavi, a tribal girl and daughter of a home guard Punaram, for achieving a top rank in JEE-Advanced, here on Friday.
Akhil honoured Vaishnavi with a shawl and offered a piece of sweet. He said that children of police department’s staffers should be encouraged to excel in academics. He noted that Vaishnavi brought recognition to the police department and the district by excelling in the national level engineering entrance and securing a seat in Geophysics course at IIT-Bombay.
Additional SP Surendar Rao, Reserve Inspectors D Venkati, N Chandrashekhar and district police officials association president Penchala Venkateshwarlu were present.
