Adilabad: A government school teacher from the district has been invited to attend the ‘At Home’ reception hosted by the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15.
Fifty-year-old Thodasam Kailash, who teaches at a school in Gourapur village of Indervelli mandal, received the invitation from President Droupadi Murmu on Monday.
Expressing joy over the honour, Kailash said he was elated to be part of the Independence Day celebrations at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
In September last year, Kailash had caught the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for singing songs in Kolami, Gondi, Hindi, and English with the help of artificial intelligence. He also authored the Hindu epic Mahabharat in the Gondi language last year.
