Adilabad tops in implementation of Dalit Basti scheme: Jogu Ramanna

Adilabad: Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna said that it was a moment of pride for Adilabad to be in top position in implementing Dalit Basti or three-acre cultivatable land to Dalits scheme. He handed over crop input support to beneficiaries of the initiative at Pipparwada village in Jainath mandal on Wednesday.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Ramanna stated Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was determined to develop the State on many aspects and for the welfare of weaker sections. The legislator gave away input support of Rs 14,600 to 26 families each. He stated that the initiative had helped Dalits in farming and in achieving financial and security. He said that a total of 1,833 families were covered under the scheme since its inception. As many as 4,672 acres of land was given to the families, costing Rs 206 crore. he elaborated.
