Adilabad: Residents from model village Mukhra (K) celebrated the 25th foundation day of the BRS party slated to be held in Warangal for April 27, in advance on Friday.

Led by Sarpanch Gadge Meenakshi, the women and men of the village gathered at an agriculture field, wearing pink caps, carrying flex posters of BRS supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao and flags of the party. They raised slogans in favor of the party. They wanted the rule of Rao once again for witnessing growth of the State.

Meenakshi said that villages saw unprecedented development on many fronts by the innovative welfare schemes and developmental activities introduced by Chandrashekhar Rao. All sections of the society were benefited by the initiatives. The villages were crippled. They are now grappling with many challenges under the governance of the Congress, she stated.
A large number of residents and MPTC member Gadge Subhash were present.
