Adilabad: Villagers perform Ksheerabhishekam to KCR’s flex poster ahead of Diksha Diwas

Residents of Mukhra (K) village in Echoda mandal celebrated Diksha Diwas a day early by performing Ksheerabhishekam on K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s flex poster and taking out a drum-led procession, praising his leadership and expressing their desire for his return as Chief Minister.

Adilabad: Residents from Mukhra (K) village in Echoda mandal celebrated Diksha Diwas a day in advance and performed Ksheerabhisekam to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s flex poster placing it on a bullock cart on Friday.

The residents recalled that Telangana was making rapid strides in many sectors under the leadership of Rao. They hailed Rao for spearheading the Telangana movement and achieving a separate state by displaying unwavering commitment and facing odds. No leader can develop a newly created state on par with Rao, they remarked.

The celebrators wanted Rao as the Chief Minister of Telangana again. Leadership of Rao is the protection for Telangana, they opined. They took out a procession in the streets of the village playing drums.
