Hyderabad: The State government gave administrative approval for taking up works pertaining to restoration of Ganapa Samudram at Ghanpur in Wanaparthy district at a cost of Rs.47.73 crore during next financial year, subject to certain conditions.
The Chief Engineer, Wanaparthy is responsible for the correctness of quantities, data and provisions made in the estimate. He is also responsible to obtain approved designs and drawings from the competent authority before according technical sanction apart from ensuring seigniorage charges to be considered as per actuals.
The Engineer-in-Chief (General), Irrigation and Command Area Development department, Hyderabad would take necessary action accordingly, according to Rajat Kumar, Special Chief Secretary.
