Advanced oxygen plant to be set up at govt hospital in Mahabubnagar
Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud visited the Corona tests centre on the Hospital premises and interacted with the persons, who had come for undergoing covid tests
Mahabubnagar: Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud said an advanced oxygen plant with a capacity of 1000 litres per minute production will be set up at Government General Hospital in the town.
The Minister made a surprise inspection of the GGH on Saturday. During his inspection, he visited the Corona tests centre on the Hospital premises and interacted with the persons, who had come for undergoing covid tests.
Addressing on the occasion, the Minister said though there was on Oxygen plant in the hospital, an advanced oxygen plant plant was being set up to cater the future requirements.
Later, the Minister served free lunch to the attendants of Covid patients at the hospital and sanitation workers. The free food was offered by Shantha Narayana Charitable Trust.
He also inspected a shed being constructed on the hospital premises for the convenience of patients attendants and those visiting the hospital. During the inspection, the Minister gave a few instructions to the officials regarding seating arrangements.
Later, the Minister inspected the double bedroom houses being constructed in Journalists Colony and directed the officials to complete the slab works by in a month.
He directed the officials to expedite the double bedroom houses being constructed at Journalists Colony, Yenugonda.
“The Government will not compromise on the quality of works. All the slab works should be completed within a month” said Srinivas Goud.
