Hyderabad: Come April 1 and Hyderabad is in for a treat as the Afghanistan Consulate in the city is conducting a massive food festival, along with a cultural festival till April 10.

“There are many ethnic groups with their own lifestyle, fashion, food and culture in Afghanistan. Each of those tribes and ethnic groups also have their unique music as well and the festival will feature a live music session every day.

In addition to the cultural exchange, the festival also aims at increasing trade between Telangana and Afghanistan, as it also features a B2B meeting between dry fruit, tea, handicraft traders of the two places on April 6. Traders can utilise this event for business opportunities with the country.

One of the highlights of this festival is a masterclass on Afghan cuisine by Chef Fariba from Kabul, to be held on April 5.
