Hyderabad: Age is just a number and old age is not an hindrance to express one’s love for the party, M Prabhakar Rao, a septuagenarian delegate at the TRS plenary session at Hitex said on Monday.
The 75-year-old, a native of Rajanna Sircilla district, said he would not miss the plenary session for anything, and landed up at the venue with other party colleagues despite Covid still lurking in the corner. “I have been actively involved in the party affairs since 2001, and today is a historic moment when my party completed 20 years. It is a major milestone for a regional party,” Prabhakar Rao said.
There is a touch of pride in his voice when he speaks about the welfare and development programmes of the TRS government. “No State can match Telangana in implementation of welfare and development programmes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima and the latest Dalit Bandhu,” Prabhakar Rao said.
