New Delhi: Actor Ahaan Panday has started shooting for his next film with film director Ali Abbas Zafar.

The film is produced under the Yash Raj Films banner. The details of the plot and cast are kept under wraps.

Zafar, known for films such as “Sultan” and “Tiger Zinda Hai”, shared the news with a post on his Instagram handle on Friday. The first picture featured the actor, followed by a picture of the clapper board with “Yash Raj Films PVT LTD. ‘Production No 79’ ‘Director: Ali Abbas Zafar’,” written over it.

“And it BEGINS @ahaanpandayy @yrf,” read the caption.

Panday made his acting debut with Mohit Suri’s film “Saiyaara”. Released in 2025, it served as a breakthrough for the actor, who starred alongside Aneet Padda.

The film grossed over Rs 5.79 billion at the global box office.

Zafar teased the collaboration with the “Saiyaara’ actor earlier this year by sharing a picture on social media with both of them posing for the camera. “Power isn’t Given ..Its TAKEN, Ready to Roll. @ahaanpandayy,” read the caption.
