AHSP of CCPT vehicle transferred at Ordnance Factory Medak
The Authority of Holding Sealed Particulars of the CCPT vehicle was transferred at Ordnance Factory Medak. Designed by DRDO’s CVRDE, the tracked command vehicle supports self-propelled artillery deployment and strengthens India’s indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities.

Hyderabad: In a significant milestone towards strengthening indigenous defence capabilities, the Authority of Holding Sealed Particulars (AHSP) of the Carrier Command Post Tracked (CCPT) vehicle was formally transferred at Ordnance Factory Medak (OFMK).
The carrier Command Post Tracked (CCPT) Vehicle is designed by the Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), DRDO, and used as a command vehicle for effective deployment of Self-Propelled (SP) Artillery guns.
CCPT is developed on the extended chassis of the BMP-2 as per Indian Army requirements, with automotive mobility matching that of SP guns on a tracked platform. Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) is an Inter-Service Organisation functioning under the Department of Defence Production in the Ministry of Defence. The event was attended by senior officials from DRDO, DGQA, OFMK, BEL and the Indian Army.
