AIC IIIT-H Foundation centre unveiled
AIC-IIITH’s 23 social enterprises have raised Rs 12 crore and generated revenue of Rs 2.7 crore while creating employment of 380 in social impact sectors

Hyderabad: An Atal Incubation Centre and International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (AIC IIIT-H) Foundation was unveiled on Wednesday. This centre has been set up exclusively for incubating and supporting tech-based social enterprises and Telangana chief secretary Somesh Kumar inaugurated during the first T-Social Impact Confluence organised by T-Social Startups Network (TSSN).
Other dignitaries include Industries department principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Agriculture department secretary Dr B Janardhan Reddy and T-Hub CEO Ravi Narayan. AIC-IIITH provides incubation support to social startups with a dedicated and furnished 10,000 sq ft of co-working space and facilities.

Kumar congratulated AIC-IIITH and said, “I hope that in this financial year this whole sector in Telangana is going to grow and that we will be able to attract the best of talent.”
Ramanan Ramanathan, Mission Director, AIM, Niti Aayog, which supports AIC-IIITH Foundation graced the event virtually and said, “It is social enterprises that can bring the power of innovations and technology to society.”
