AIFF Election Committee visits Football House after new constitution adoption

The AIFF Election Committee, led by Sunil Arora, visited the Football House and reviewed the new governance framework following the adoption of the Supreme Court-approved constitution. The panel will reconvene after amendments to the constitution are completed

Hyderabad: The three-member AIFF Election Committee, comprising Chairperson/Returning Officer Mr Sunil Arora IAS (Retd), and members Dr Vivek Gogia, DGP Delhi (Retd), IGP Goa (Retd), and Mr Surinder Singh Gurm, CBI Officer (Retd), constituted following the adoption of the Supreme Court-approved AIFF constitution, visited the Football House on Monday.

The Committee was briefed on the new governance framework, including matters related to the AIFF elections, affiliated unit elections, and Player Committee elections, by Deputy Secretary General Mr M Satyanarayan and the AIFF Legal Team.


The Committee thanked the AIFF for the briefing and will reconvene following the completion of amendments to the constitution.
