AIMIM demands probe after police firing injures suspected robber in Hyderabad
A suspected robber, Syed Omer Ansari, was injured after police fired at him in Chaderghat, Hyderabad, when he allegedly attacked a PSO. AIMIM MLA Mohd Mubeen has demanded an independent government inquiry into the incident.

HYDERABAD: The All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen party demanded the government order an independent inquiry into the firing on a suspect at Chaderghat on Saturday.
An alleged robber Syed Omer Ansari, a rowdy sheeter of Kalapather police station was injured after police fired two rounds on him when he attempted to attack the police team.
The police said Ansari, was fleeing after snatching a mobile phone. On noticing him the DCP (south east) S Chaitanya Kumar and his personal security officer (PSO) chased him.
When the PSO caught the robber, he attempted to attack the PSO with a knife. At this point the DCP took the weapon of the PSO and fired three rounds on Ansari.
The robber suffered two bullet injuries and was later shifted to a private hospital at Banjara Hills. AIMIM Bahadurpura MLA Mohd Mubeen visited the hospital and later demanded the government conduct an independent inquiry to bring out the facts.
