Hyderabad: The All India Majlis –e- Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA, Mohammed Mubeen, has asked the State government to introduce modern educational, technical and skill development courses through Society for Employment Promotion & Training in Twin Cities (SETWIN) in the city.
In a letter addressed to the Minister, Minorities Welfare Department, Telangana, the MLA said many students and unemployed youth from minority backgrounds are eager to improve their skills and employability, but are unable to afford paid training programmes. “If free courses are introduced, they would greatly benefit these individuals. Such initiatives would help promote self-reliance, reduce unemployment, and contribute to the overall development of underprivileged communities,” he said
The MLA stated that earlier, during united Andhra Pradesh, SETWIN provided free training under various schemes.
