Air Force official dies, friend injured in accident in Hyderabad
The victim, identified as Vicky Kumar (25), a native of Bihar, was working at the Air Force Station in Begumpet while his injured friend was identified as Isha Bhatt (25), from Delhi.
Hyderabad: An Air Force official died while his friend was injured after the motorcycle they were riding on crashed into the newly built roundabout at Narsingi here late on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Vicky Kumar (25), a native of Bihar, was working at the Air Force Station in Begumpet while his injured friend was identified as Isha Bhatt (25), from Delhi, who was working for a software firm in the city and residing at Gandipet.
According to the police, the incident occurred when the two were proceeding from Gandipet towards Gachibowli along with other friends. When they reached near ‘My Home Avatar’, Vicky, who was allegedly driving quite fast, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the roundabout ahead. Both fell off the bike on the road and suffered grievous bleeding injuries. Their friends and others passing by rushed to their rescue and alerted the police.
Vicky died while being shifted to the hospital in an ambulance. Isha is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Gachibowli. She is under observation.
Based on a complaint from Isha’s sister, the Narsingi police booked a case and have taken up investigation.
