Hyderabad: An Air India aircraft carrying 242 passengers has crashed in Meghani of Ahemdabad of Gujarat while take off on Thursday.

The aircraft that has crashed has been identified as Air India flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to London.


According to reports, the incident has triggered a massive emergency response, with rescue and relief teams rushing to the crash site.

Details regarding the cause of the crash and the condition of the passengers are still awaited.
