Bollywood star Ajay Devgn on Friday planted saplings as part of the Green India Challenge. Accompanied by TRS MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar, Ajay Devgn took time from his busy shooting schedule and planted saplings.

Later, he thanked the TRS MP for initiating the plantation drive which is gaining immense praise from every section of people. The Bollywood star was in the city as part of the shooting of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming movie RRR.

Speaking on the occasion, the actor said green cover would serve as the lung space for the cities. Planting more and more trees would improve biodiversity and ecological balance. He said that he is happy to be the part of the Green India Challenge and urged everyone to plant trees to continue the chain.

It may be recalled that the entire cast and crew of the RRR took part in plantation drive on November 11. Soon after planting trees, Rajamouli nominated his movie unit to take up the challenge and plant trees.
