Hyderabad: As part of MIM campaign for the GHMC elections, party floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi on Sunday held a ‘paidal daura’ in pockets of old city of Hyderabad.
Akbaruddin began the padayatra from Uppuguda division where the party is locked in a keen contest with the BJP, and later moved to adjoining Lalithabagh and Riyasatnagar divisions. He was accompanied by contesting candidates and local party workers.
The MIM Star campaigner interacted with the local residents and after hearing their grievances promised to get them resolved at the earliest. People gathered around at different parts in these divisions, garlanded Akbaruddin and took photographs with him.
All the divisions visited by Akbaruddin Owaisi on Sunday are part of Chandrayangutta constituency represented by him.
