Hyderabad: It has been well-known that actor Akhil Akkineni has been hitting the gym rigorously for a beefed up look for his upcoming film – ‘Agent’. Sharing the outcome of the muscled efforts, the actor shared a picture flaunting his new looks while raising the temperatures on Instagram.
Wishing his followers a Happy New Year, the actor, while sharing his shirtless picture on the photo-sharing platform, wrote as caption: “A new year, a new me. 2022, I’m ready for you. Wishing every single one of you a happy new year. Let your fire burn.”
And the melting hot picture has left netizens drool over his body transformation. Hailing his new looks, several fans replied singing praises of the actor and fire emojis in the comments section.
Akhil’s upcoming film ‘Agent’, directed by Surender Reddy, is touted to be a spy thriller. It also stars Malayalam star Mammooty in a key role, along with Sakshi Vaidya. The film has a story written by Vakkantham Vamsi, and is being bankrolled by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema.
The film ‘Agent’ was originally scheduled to release in theatres in December 2021 but got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The makers are yet to announce the new release date.
While some big budget films like ‘RRR’, ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, and ‘Bheemla Nayak’ have been struggling to find a good release date avoiding clash with other flicks, we’re yet to see if ‘Agent’ will also compete in the release spree.
