Akhilesh Reddy of Wipro wins HR Icons Award

He received a certificate of merit, trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.

Hyderabad: Akhilesh Reddy Jukareddy, HR Manager, Wipro (Switzerland) has won the sixth NHRDN Professor Ram Charan Young HR Icons Award for 2020 in the ‘professional’ category.

He received a certificate of merit, trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. The award was given recently during the NHRDN National Conference, attended by over 1,000 HR leaders, virtually.

The award first instituted in 2014, recognises and rewards emerging talent in the human capital space. The competition identifies individuals from amongst the next wave of potential pace setters in the HR industry. The award recognises professionals who are contributing to the industry through their organisational set-ups.

The candidates have to go through different layers of evaluation for over four months that assess their aptitude, flexibility & creativity, situational judgement, ethics and compliance consciousness, strategic orientation & innovation, communication effectiveness, personality, design, planning and execution efficacy and several other parameters.
