Akshath Chowhan wins Telangana under-7 chess title
L Akshath Chowhan won the Telangana State under-7 chess championship, while Rinayara Varma topped the girls section, with top finishers earning qualification to represent the state in the upcoming national tournament

Hyderabad: L Akshath Chowhan of Warangal won the Telangana State under-7 chess championship at LB Stadium Yoga Hall here on Monday.
Vislavath Lavikram of Nagarkurnool finished second.
Both players will represent Telangana in the nationals to be held soon.
In the girls section, Rinayara Varma of Ranga Reddy and Y Suheera finished first and second respectively, and the two will represent the state in the nationals.
