Hyderabad: Akshaya Reddy Varakantham won gold in set two and an overall silver in the CISCE Archery Nationals in the under-14 category held in Kochi.
A student of Future Kids School, Akshaya is coached by Bandi Swamy and Gangarju.
For the record, Akshaya began archery at the age of eight and made a mark by winning gold in the under-10 category at the State level. Since then, she has been consistently finishing in the top three at various championships.
