Hyderabad: In a horrific incident, an alcoholic hacked his mother to death for refusing to give him Rs 200 to buy liquor at Rajivnagar here late on Saturday night.
According to Mancherial Sub-Inspector Gangaram, Kadamanda Chandrasekhar used to harass his mother Satthemma (65), a widow and daily wage earner, for money. On Saturday, Chandrasekhar, in fit of rage, attacked his mother with an axe, killing her on the spot.
A case was registered against the accused based on a complaint filed by Laxmi, the victim’s daughter.
