Sangareddy: An alcoholic man killed his father at Mansanpally village of Andole Mandal in Sangareddy district on Friday.
The victim was identified as Chakali Lalshmaiah (60) and the accused his son, Krishnaiah (42). Krishnaiah was married to three women, but all of them left him unable to bear his harassment. Krishnaiah, who used to live with his parents, also used to harass his parents for money to meet his luxurious needs.
Following one such argument, Krishnaiah attacked his father indiscriminately with an axe, killing him on the spot. Jogipet Police registered a case and the body was taken to Area Hospital Jogipet. The accused was taken into custody.
