Hyderabad: The Asifnagar police saved a man who was allegedly trying to kill himself by hanging following a property dispute on Tuesday evening.
The man, a resident of Rethi Bowli in Asifnagar, lived with his wife and children. On Tuesday evening, he locked himself in a room and was trying to kill himself by hanging, police said.
“His wife called up the police control room over Dial 100 and a police patrol team rushed to the spot. After breaking open the door, the police personnel brought him down and shifted him to hospital,” Asifnagar ACP RG Siva Maruthi said.
The four police personnel, Sub-inspector Santosh Kumar, constable Santosh Kumar, Home Guard Suresh and another constable Santosh, who saved the man’s life were appreciated by senior officials.
