Hyderabad: For the benefit of the art and craft lovers of Hyderabad, Shilparamam will be hosting the annual All India Craft Mela-2021, from December 15 to 31. The event, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, with an objective to promote and encourage the handloom and handicrafts artisans, will be open from 10.30 am to 8 pm, every day.
The fair will be inaugurated by V. Srinivas Goud, Minister for Prohibition and Excise, Sports and Youth Services, and Tourism, Culture and Archeology at 4 pm on December 15. Several artisans and performers from across the country will take part in the event. Many woodcarving, handlooms, handicrafts, terracotta, blue pottery, cane and bamboo items will be available for the visitors.
The organisers have also scheduled cultural programmes every evening for the audience. The organisers have requested all the visitors to wear a face mask, maintain social distance and practice all the Covid rules and regulations, for everyone’s safety.
