Hyderabad: Despite the rise in Covid-19 infections due to the Omicron variant, all the healthcare services in government hospitals in Hyderabad have continued. While there is a dip in the number of outpatients needing non-Covid healthcare facilities, the inpatient admissions appeared to have not been affected.

On Tuesday, Director of Medical Education (DME), Dr K Ramesh Reddy made it clear that government hospitals in Telangana will continue to function normally.

“All the services in government hospitals in Telangana are running normally. Hospital Covid admissions are minimal and we have not stopped any elective services so far at any government hospital,” he said in a statement.
