Nirmal: State election observer Navin Mittal expressed satisfaction with the arrangements for the polls to Adilabad Local Authorities Constituency slated for December 10. He along with Collector Musharraf Ali Faruqui inspected polling stations and routes in Nirmal on Tuesday.
Mittal checked basic amenities, exit and entrances of the polling station and routes leading to the facility. He said that he was satisfied with the arrangements and said that the model code of conduct was not violated in the district. He told the authorities concerned to ensure smooth conduct of the elections.
The observer, who is the commissioner of the Education Department, visited a government degree college in the town. She thoroughly inspected the labs and classrooms of the institution and gave tips to staffers of the college.
He assured all support to the growth of the college. He lauded the principal of the college for raising the admissions in this academic year.
