Hyderabad: Allu Arjun, who is basking in the success of his latest release ‘Pushpa’ which joined the Rs 300 crore club and continues to race ahead, now has another reason to carry on with his celebrations for a while more. The actor has reached the milestone of 15 million followers on Instagram.
Arjun took to his Instagram account and wrote, “15 M. Thank you soo much for all the love you all shower. Humbled. Gratitude Forever. And Happy Sankranthi(sic).”
Allu Arjun is one of the most popular stars from the Telugu film industry who gained fans from all over India, and globally too, after his last two releases – ‘Ala.. Vaikunthapurramulo’ and ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. His fan-following from Kerala has only been increasing as people there celebrate his films like a festival. He is the only male actor from the Telugu industry who got 15 million followers in the recent time.
Apart from Allu Arjun, it’s Vijay Deverakonda who amassed major fan-following on social media with 14.2 million followers and stands second in the social media race.
Usually, it’s the female actors who gain a lot of popularity on social media like Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal with 20-million plus followers, followed by Pooja Hegde with 17-million plus, while Rashmika Mandanna leads the race on social media with 27.3 million followers.
