Allu Arjun’s much-awaited film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ has sky-high expectations from all sections of the audience. The story of a redsander named Pushparaj gives an intriguing peek into the smuggling and struggle in the Nallamala forests. As the movie is slated to release in theatres on December 17, it is learnt that the makers of the film have already made handsome business before the film’s release.
The ‘Pushpa’ makers have fetched a whopping sum of Rs 250 crore from the theatrical and non-theatrical rights of the fim. The fancy amount includes the all-language theatrical rights, and the sum that OTT player paid for the streaming rights and also the audio and satellite rights.
Allu Arjun, who turned out to be the Icon Star with the movie ‘Pushpa’, is already in good nick with the success of his last outing ‘Ala.. Vaikunthapurramuloo’. And given Sukumar’s track record and his success at the box office, there’s been a tremendous buzz surrounding the movie — thus fetching good money for the makers before the release.
