Hyderabad: The Allu family has, on several occasions, expressed their gratitude and respect to legendary actor Allu Ramalingaiah. Now, celebrating his grandfather’s birth centenary, actor Allu Arjun along with his brothers Allu Sirish and Allu Venkatesh (Bobby) has unveiled a statue of Allu Ramalingaiah at their Studio in Hyderabad.
Sharing a photo with the statue, Allu Arjun took to his social media handles to pen a heartfelt note calling his grandfather a pride of the family.
“Unveiled the statue of my grandfather Padmashri #AlluRamalingaiah garu in ALLU Studios on his birth anniversary today along with #AlluBobby & @AlluSirish. He was our pride and will continue to be a part of our journey at Allu studios(sic),” Allu Arjun wrote.
Joining in, the entire team of Allu Arjun fondly remembered the legendary actor for his contribution to the film industry.
Allu Studios in Hyderabad was inaugurated on October 1, 2020, to commemorate the 99th birth anniversary of late legendary actor Allu Ramalingaiah. The late versatile actor appeared in over 1,000 Telugu films and was majorly known for his comic timing and his unique nasal voice.
“1st of October marks the 99th birth anniversary of our beloved Dr. Sri Allu Ramalingaiah. To commemorate the occasion and honour his memory, the Allu family will inaugurate the construction work of ALLU Studios. We celebrate the legacy of our grandfather and dedicate this ALLU Studios to him. With all your blessings and good wishes, we commence the works of ALLU Studios(sic),” Allu Arjun had previously mentioned on his social media handles.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Allu Arjun is busy with the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Pushpa’. Directed by Sukumar, the film will see Rashmika Mandanna play the female lead while Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil plays the main antagonist.
