New Delhi: Aluminium prices on Monday rose nearly 0.72 per cent to Rs 371.50 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in June increased by Rs 2.65, or 0.72 per cent, to Rs 371.50 per kilogram in 72 lots. Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
