Amaravati Royals beat Bhimavaram Bulls in APL T20

Capital Amaravati Royals chased down 192 to defeat Bhimavaram Bulls by three wickets in the Andhra Premier League T20, with key contributions from Hanuma Vihari, S V Rahul, and A V V Vijay

VISAKHAPATNAM: Capital Amaravati Royals recorded its third win with a three-wicket victory against Bhimavaram Bulls in the Andhra Premier League T20 cricket championship here on Tuesday.

Batting first, Bulls scored 191 for four in 20 overs, thanks to fine knocks by N Himakumar (81, 44b, 6×4, 6×6) and wicketkeeper-batter K Revanth Reddy (69, 50b, 3×4, 3×6).


In reply, Royals reached the target with useful contributions from G Hanuma Vihari, ‘player of the match’ S V Rahul, and A V V Vijay. For Bulls, P Tejaswi (four for 23) was the pick of the bowlers.

The scores:
Bhimavaram Bulls 191/4 in 20 overs (N Himakumar 81, K Revanth Reddy 69) lost to Capital Amaravati Royals 193/7 in 19.4 overs (G Hanuma Vihari 37, S V Rahul 52, A V V Vijay 36, P Tejaswi 4/23).
