Amitabh wishes Mohan Babu for ‘Son of India’
The makers have released the first single 'JayaJaya Mahavira' from the movie. Sung by Rahul Nambiar, the song was written by Kasarla Shyam.
Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday expressed wishes to veteran actor Mohan Babu for the latter’s much-awaited movie ‘Son of India’.
The makers have released the first single ‘JayaJaya Mahavira’ from the movie. Sung by Rahul Nambiar, the song was written by Kasarla Shyam.
Taking to his twitter handle, Amitabh wrote, “Two greats of Indian Cinema .. Veteran Telugu Actor M Mohan Babu & maestro Sri Ilayaraja come together to pay homage in an ode to the valour of Lord Ram in a song ‘Raghuveera Gadhyam’ .. the film ’SON of INDIA’
My best wishes(sic)”.
The devotional song ‘JayaJaya Mahavira’ is about Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Featuring Mohan Babu, the lyrical video has a range of emotions and the visual effects in the background is a delight to watch. The song is garnering positive response from fans.
Mohan Babu’s role Bhaktavasalam Naidu in Suriya starrer ‘Aakasam Nee Haddu Raa’ earned the actor much fame. He played the rebellious Airforce officer in it. The veteran also has a role in the upcoming movie ‘Shaakuntalam’ a mythological drama being directed by Gunasekhar.
