AMRUT 2.0 Scam: Revanth Reddy says all Reddys are not his relatives
Hinting at Sujan Reddy, the owner of Sodha Constructions, which is embroiled in the controversy with BRS working president KT Rama Rao alleging that contracts were given to him because he was the Chief Minister's brother-in-law, Revanth Reddy said all those with the Reddy surname was not his relative.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy‘s first response to the complaint lodged by the BRS with the Centre in connection with the AMRUT 2.0 tender scam was to wash his hands off the people allegedly related to him.
Hinting at Sujan Reddy, the owner of Sodha Constructions, which is embroiled in the controversy with BRS working president KT Rama Rao alleging that contracts were given to him because he was the Chief Minister’s brother-in-law, Revanth Reddy said all those with the Reddy surname was not his relative.
On Rama Rao lodging a complaint with the Centre, he said the BRS leader could approach anybody and was free to file a case in the court as well.
He accused the BRS working president of having visited New Delhi to save himself from the Formula e-race issue.
“Soon after the Governor accords permission, action will be initiated against Rama Rao,” Revanth Reddy said while speaking to media persons in New Delhi.
The Chief Minister also said people involved in the attack on Vikarabad Collector Prateek Jain and KADA Special Officer Venkat Reddy would not be spared. Stern action would be taken against all the offenders, he added.
