Hyderabad: Amulya Balmuri, daughter of B Srinivas Rao (Retd. I&CAD Department) and B Rama, has been crowned Miss Telugu USA 2026. Currently residing in Dallas, Texas, Amulya hails from Chityalapally village, Karimnagar, with her parents residing in Alwal, Hyderabad.
Beginning her academic journey with an IT background from Bhojreddy Engineering College, Amulya went on to complete her Master’s degree and is now forging a successful path in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Driven by a passion for writing, she publishes her stories online and has garnered a global readership of over 90,000.
The Miss Telugu USA pageant marked an inspiring journey spanning seven months. With over 100 candidates from across the United States participating in the auditions, only 25 were selected as finalists.
Amulya Balmuri distinguished herself through her determination and dedication, becoming a source of inspiration to others. Receiving the crown from actress Laya at the grand finale held on April 4 added an extra layer of prestige to her victory.
