The Banyan Tree is bringing the fourth edition of The Indian Music Conference, for the first time to Hyderabad. This festival will be presented in a hybrid format (live concert with a limited audience and a virtual concert) on March 19, at the Ravindra Bharti Auditorium, Saifabad, 6:30 pm onwards.
The event will feature renowned Santoor player Rahul Sharma, son and disciple of Pt. Shivkumar Sharma.
Eminent vocalist Anand Bhate will also be a part of the event. Anand won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the 2011 Marathi movie Balgandharva.
As is the tradition, Indian Music Conference will also feature talented vocalist Vilina Patra to encourage the young classical artistes who are maestros in the making. Vilina is currently the disciple of the renowned maestro Sanjeev Abhyankar and an A grade artist of All India Radio, Pune in classical vocal music.
