Hyderabad: Actor Anand Deverakonda is likely to bag another hit with his upcoming movie ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’.
The trailer of the movie was formally launched by Icon Star Allu Arjun here in the city. Actor Anand plays the role of a government school teacher named Sundar in the movie. Arriving in the city eight days after his marriage, his wife gives him a shock of his lifetime as she elopes with an unknown person.
To save his face, he tries to bluff his neighbours and stages various feats to make people believe that his wife is with him.
Scenes such as ordering Chicken biryani from Shah Ghouse to serve his colleagues as cooked by his wife – are fun to watch.
Sundar doesn’t have the proof to show to the police that his wife eloped. The only proof was the letter she wrote before leaving and Sundar swallowed the letter. Backed by Vijay Deverakonda’s film production King of The Hill and Tanga Productions, the movie which is directed by Domodara, will hit the screens on November 12.
Speaking during the trailer launch event, Vijay Deverakonda said, “I have seen the situation how we struggled to get projects bankrolled even when there were talented directors like Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Tharun Bhasker Dassyam. Now, to encourage the talent in the film industry, we have decided to produce the movie ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ under King Of The Hills productions. I have known director Damodara since the days of ‘Life Is Beautiful’. Very pleased to have Icon Star Allu Arjun for the trailer launch event.”
