Ananth wins silver in Asian Masters Athletics Championships long jump

Hyderabad: M Ananth, veteran athlete of Athletics Coaching Academy (Hyderabad), won a silver medal in the Asian Masters Athletics Championships held at Chennai in the long jump event in the 50 years and above category with an effort of 5.71m.

Japan’s Yoshio Mochizuki (6.06m) and Shinichi Yamada (5.55m) won gold and bronze respectively.
