Hyderabad: Everytime she bags a role in Sukumar’s movie, Anasuya Bharadwaj gets lauded by audiences. ‘Rangasthalam’ had hit all the right chords with the fans praising her character Rangammattha who was seen as a wise woman. Apparently, her next character in ‘Pushpa’, too, is garnering massive response now. Anasuya looks fierce and unrecognisable in the role of Dakshayini in the Sukumar directorial, as fans call it a career-defining role for the actor.

“She is arrogance and pride personified,” wrote Anasuya on her Instagram page sharing the first-look poster. Her fans congratulated the actor with wishes on the comments section while some wrote saying she is unrecognisable in the first glimpse poster.

Starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, ‘Pushpa’ has raised the expectations of Telugu audience right from the day the teaser was released. The promos, singles and the mannerisms have grabbed the attention of the public.

Touted to be a crime thriller, the story is supposedly based on true events. Allu Arjun plays the sandalwood smuggler named Pushpa Raj. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on December 17.
