Hyderabad: A fine spell by off-spinner Drithi Kesari (four for 30) went in vain as Andhra managed to score a three-wicket win against Hyderabad in the BCCI Women’s Under-23 one-day cricket championship Elite Group match at Dehradun on Thursday.

M Mamatha (35), who scored a century earlier in the championship, was the top scorer for Hyderabad, which was bundled out for 134 in 41.5 overs.

In reply, Andhra struggled but managed to reach the target in the 26th over thanks to a fine knock by V Setu Sai (69, 53b, 12×4, 1×6), losing seven wickets despite a fine spell by off-spinner Drithi Kesari (7-0-30-4). Vanka Pooja picked two wickets.

The scores: Hyderabad 134 in 41.5 overs (Mamatha 35, S Sailakshmi 3/31, Shristi Sekhar 2/25) lost to Andhra 135/7 in 25.2 overs (V Setu Sai 69, Drithi Kesari 4/30, Vanka Pooja 2/30).
