Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said he would ride a bicycle on June 5 to mark World Environment Day. He also called on people to protect the environment as a shared responsibility. The Chief Minister urged people to use bicycles and e-bicycles on the occasion of World Environment Day.

“During my visit to Visakhapatnam tomorrow, I will ride a bicycle to spread the message of environmental protection among the people,” Naidu said in a post on X.

He sought everyone’s cooperation and urged people to come together to make World Environment Day meaningful. Calling Earth our home and nature our lifeline, the CM appealed to everyone to plant a sapling.

“Let us all work together to protect natural resources and prevent air, water, and soil pollution,” he said, adding that increasing greenery and conserving fuel resources are essential.
