Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Saturday underwent surgery in Mumbai to treat a damaged right rotator cuff muscle. During an earlier medical check-up, doctors had observed that the actor-politician suffered severe injuries to the rotator cuff muscles in both his shoulders.
“On Saturday, the rotator cuff injury pertaining to the right shoulder was operated upon. It took three and half hours for the operation. The other shoulder should be operated upon after a gap of two months,” said an official press release from Jana Sena.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu wished Kalyan a full and speedy recovery. “I pray for his good health and wish him strength during this time,” said Naidu in a post on X.
